Cotton poly 2x2 rib knit is a textured, durable, and highly elastic fabric blend featuring a pattern of two knit and two purl stitches that creates prominent vertical ridges. This versatile material is primarily used for cuffs, neckbands, and waistbands on apparel like jackets, sweatshirts, and joggers, but also for full garments such as tops, dresses, and infant wear due to its soft feel and excellent recovery.

Rib fabrics are double-knit fabrics with alternating vertical rows that give it elasticity, especially in the width. They are knitted using two sets of needles operating at right angles to create stitches that intermesh on the face and back. Rib knits have a very high degree of elasticity and are used for garments, bands, and trims
